Welcome to My Blog!

Coach Kendra's Thoughts of the Week covers a wide variety of topics from Health and Wellness concepts like Eating for better health, Stress Relief through Mindfulness, Yoga is For EVERYONE, How to successfully change your behavior, and so much more. A quick warning though - these thoughts are shared from my perspective.... I am a loving, compassionate person... but I am a realist, I can be gritty, I have a potty mouth, and I believe in accountability. I also believe we are all human, together in the world. Love, Compassion, Understanding, and Acceptance are all things we need. I will give it to you real AND with love....


Hi There! I am Coach Kendra (Or Coach K for short) Like you, I where many hats.... Wife, Mom, Business Owner, schedule master, grocery wizard, Domestic Goddess perhaps, LOL. And of course my actual titles National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC); Yoga Medco Certified Integrative Health Coach, Team Wellbeing Coach, and Yoga Coach; Yoga Alliance Certified RTY200 Yoga Teacher. IMO all that really says "busy woman". Also, like many people, I have anxiety; carry alot of stress; worry; don't get enough exercise; struggle to eat right; face health issues; etc. This blog is for us. The busy people. The stressed people. The people that need self care.


One thing you won't find here is perfection. Another thing you won't find is yet another suite and tie professor or a shredded fitness bitch telling you how to be or that you aren't doing well enough or showing you some bullshit quick hack to being your best you over night. We are human. We are flawed. We are beautiful. WE are a work in progress. (always) I am working to embrace all of me, and use my strengths and flaws to my advantage. I hope to share this journey with you. The real me, the real you, working on being amazing. Together.


I hope to take you on a journey of my thoughts about subjects people like you and I need clarity on. Together I hope we can work toward being healthier people.... well BEINGS if you will. Together we will explore positive things, and tough subjects. I will be there with you all the way through them. It may not be pretty. There might even be ugly crying occasionally. But I am here to show you that you can be yourself, AND achieve your goals. That you can keep going when its hard, regroup when you need to. Find success often, and be fucking awesome in your own way. (Which BTW is perfection in this universe even if it isnt in some ones text book.)


I hope you are ready to walk with me for a while! I am excited to join you all on our journey towards great things, fuck ups, curiosities, oopses, road blocks, success and wherever else this road is going for us all.
